Having entered the advertising and publishing world as early as the 2000s, the founder of the company, Christos Moraites, with studies and professional experience in marketing and, primarily, in graphic design (D.T.P.), established the creative studio “MC AD Creations” in 2009, followed by the founding of the publishing house “MORAITES Publications” at the end of 2013.
His extensive experience in the fields of books and communication cultivated not only a refined aesthetic, but also a deep belief in the power of the written word. This journey led to the creation of the broader cultural and publishing organization “MORAITES” — a space where ideas, books, and creative expression find a common home.
Our philosophy
As part of our ongoing renewal and expansion, MORAITES Publications has developed into a multifaceted cultural organization:
- Participating in book fairs in Greece and abroad, spreading our titles across borders.
- Collaborating with theatrical productions, bringing literature to life on stage.
- Establishing (together with Entypois Publications) the annual “Silver Page” literary competition, spotlighting new and powerful voices.
- Producing podcasts and audiobooks, giving voice to words in the digital age.
- Enriching the dialogue with readers through our cultural blog articles and features.
- Cultivating projects around traditional and Byzantine music, preserving and promoting our spiritual heritage.
